Pass the Pole

So every week I have women walk into my class and ask me how I got my butt and abs.  I wish I could say it was genetic, but sadly that's not the case.  I work my tail, no pun intended, off every week and actually impose rules upon myself to ensure that I do something every day.  My personal favorite is the "Pass the Pole Rule."  This rule states that if I am wearing clothing that will not rip, split, or strain while walking by the pole in my home, I must do at least 8 reps of something, climb the darn thing, spin, or invert.  Yes working out in general is a great way to stay fit and condition for pole, but........ain't nothin' like the real thing baby.  There are muscles that you can only seem to find on the pole.  My downstairs neighbors love the occasional thump of me having the accidental oopsy now and then.

  1. My dance students always do the same thing - they want to know when they will be as fit or do the same moves. I keep trying to find a better way of saying, PRACTICE. :)
